Backup Policy - Master Hosting
CRITICAL DISCLAIMER: Master Hosting does NOT provide any guarantee regarding data security, data protection, or data availability. We do NOT guarantee that your data will be secure, protected, or available at any time. By using our services, you acknowledge and accept that data loss, corruption, or unavailability may occur at any time, and Master Hosting shall not be held responsible for any such incidents.
At Master Hosting, we may provide basic data protection facilities for our clients as a courtesy service. However, it is important to understand that backups are provided as a courtesy service and NOT a guaranteed feature. By using our services, you agree to the terms below regarding backup creation, storage, and restoration.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITY: It is YOUR sole responsibility to maintain your own backups of all data, files, databases, emails, and content. You must always keep your own backups independently of our services. Master Hosting strongly recommends that you regularly download and maintain local or cloud backups of all your data.
1. Backup Frequency
- Master Hosting maintains one backup every 7 days (weekly backup).
- Each new backup automatically overwrites the previous one.
- Backups are stored for a maximum of 7 days only from the date of creation.
2. Backup Restoration
Support Method: If you need to restore a backup, you MUST raise a support ticket through your Client Area. We do NOT provide phone support, WhatsApp support, or any other support method. All support requests must be submitted through the Client Area ticket system.
- If you need to restore a backup, you must raise a support ticket through your Client Area.
- Restoration will be performed only from the available 7-day backup, if available.
- We cannot restore or provide data that is older than the latest available backup.
- Master Hosting does NOT guarantee that every backup will be error-free or restorable.
- Master Hosting does NOT guarantee that backups will be available when you need them.
- Restoration may not be possible if backups are corrupted, incomplete, or unavailable.
3. Third-Party Backup Infrastructure
- Backups are managed using third-party systems/services integrated with our hosting platform.
- If any hardware failure, disk issue, or third-party outage occurs, Master Hosting will not be responsible for data loss or incomplete backups.
- In such situations, we will attempt to restore data from the most recent available backup, if possible.
4. Client Responsibility (MANDATORY)
YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR DATA BACKUPS. Master Hosting does NOT guarantee data security, data protection, or data availability. It is YOUR mandatory responsibility to:
- Always maintain your own local or cloud backups of websites, databases, emails, files, and all other data
- Regularly download and store backups independently of our services
- Verify your backups to ensure they are complete and restorable
- Maintain multiple backup copies in different locations
- Situations where maintaining your own backups is crucial:
- Before making major website or server updates
- Before long periods of inactivity or maintenance
- On a regular schedule, depending on how frequently your website content changes
- Before any account modifications or changes
- Your business data is YOUR responsibility. Master Hosting will NOT be held responsible for any data loss, regardless of the cause.
By using our services, you acknowledge that maintaining backups is YOUR responsibility, and Master Hosting bears NO responsibility for data loss or unavailability.
5. Limitations & Liability Disclaimer
- Master Hosting shall not be held liable for:
- Any partial or total data loss.
- Missing or failed backups for specific days.
- Corrupted or damaged backup files.
- Any hardware, software, or third-party failure affecting backup creation or restoration.
- Any difference between live data and restored backup content.
By using Master Hosting services, you acknowledge and accept that our backup system is a best-effort service, and you are solely responsible for maintaining additional backups of your data.
6. Support and Contact
Support Method: Master Hosting provides support ONLY through the Client Area ticket system. We do NOT provide:
- Phone support
- WhatsApp support
- Live chat support
- Any other support method

- Master Hosting does NOT guarantee data security, protection, or availability
